Jake's First REAL football game!

Jake's first football game!! It was this past Sunday. They played the Nebraska Warriors...and boy...they were tough. Our boys just couldn't break them! I think we had one touchdown...but I think they had like...4 or 5. :-( The Wildcats (that's us) did a great job though! Here is Jake at halftime...headed to his huddle! Here is our halftime entertainment. Is it just me, or do the cheerleaders get younger looking every day?

Here they are about ready to start the second half. Coach is in there giving them a final pep talk! Jake was playing tight end on this day. Jake is number 55, you can see him kneeling on the ground. Shortly after this picture was taken, Jake was taken out by an opposing player and was "injured". He was out the rest of the game. He is fine though...his injury? The wind was knocked out of him. When we asked him what happened, his response was, "A guy on the other team, threw a guy from my team into me!"

This is what Major tried to do THE WHOLE TIME! "LET ME OUT!"

All in all, we had a great day and it was great game. This Sunday they play the Omaha Chiefs!
